IASP 2024 World Congress of Pain
Dr. Maria Kleinstaeuber in collaboration with Dr. Sharryn Lydall-Smith (Pain Team at Monash Health, Bayswater, Australia) presented on an interdisciplinary pain management program at the World Congress of Pain by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) in Amsterdam (5-9th August 2024). The pain management program combines strategies of cognitive behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy as well as elements of physical therapy and is provided to patients at the USU Behavioral Health Clinic. Health Fair on Alzheimer’s Prevention
On 29th June the PHMI lab organized a booth on chronic pain at the Health Fair on Alzheimer’s Prevention on the USU campus in Logan (Taggart Student Center). The Health Fair is organized by Dr. JoAnn Tschanz, Professor in the Psychology Department at USU, and the Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Research Center. Learn more about it from our flyer:
